CAIRO - 19 January 2018: The third and last day of "Tale of a Homeland" conference, where President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi reviews the achievements made during four-year presidential tenure, kicked off on Friday.

The first session of the conference, will address the axis of Egypt’s foreign policy under the president’s first term, efforts made by the government to eliminate terrorism and to re-build the state's institutions.

Sisi is also set to answer citizens' questions about his four years in office during the second and last session titled "Ask the President," as part of the online initiative launched earlier in January, to enhance communication between the president and citizens.

During the first day of the conference, President Sisi said he deemed his period as a president as a “rescue mission,” and tackled energy-related discussions and Egypt’s current economic challenges.

President Sisi took office in 2014, after protesters toppled the Muslim Brotherhood affiliated ex-president Mohamed Morsy in 2013. And yet, Sisi has not officially announced his presidential bid for his second term.
