Organization of Islamic Cooperation chief to visit Cairo Monday

JEDDAH - 14 January 2018: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Youssef al Othaimeen will pay an official visit to Cairo starting Monday for talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to probe joint ties.

During his three-day visit, al Othaimeen will meet Foreign Minister Sameh Shourkry, Arab League Chief Ahmed Abul Gheit and Al Azhar Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed el Tayyeb, said a statement issued by the OIC on Sunday.

He will also participate in inaugurating Al Azhar International Conference in Support of Jerusalem slated for Wednesday.
