Sisi inaugurates main stage of Maadi Medical complex development

CAIRO – 12 January 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi inaugurated on Friday the main stage of construction development of the Armed Forces Medical Complex at Maadi district, south of Cairo, according to the State Television.

Sisi also inspected a number of hospitals and specialized medical centers in the medical complex.

Since Sisi took office in 2014, he has paid a great attention to the development of the health care system and the improvement of medical services.

Late 2017, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi held a meeting with the Prime Minister, along with the Health Minister, in which he stressed the importance of upgrading hospitals and medical centers, as well as establishing new ones across the country.

He also emphasized the necessity of providing medical facilities with the needed supplies at the best price.
