Government prepares a law related to cyber crimes in coordination with Defense and Interior Ministries: PM

CAIRO – 12 April 2017: Parliament member Ahmed Ismail member of Defense and National Security Committee stated that the committee discussed during its meeting the electronic visa activation in addition to ways to secure informational space, today

Ismail added in his declarations to the parliamentary journalists today that the parliament members demanded taking all the needed precautions to secure the informational national security, especially that some countries usually use the informational space to access the data of other countries.

Ismail added that they are currently preparing a law in cooperation with the telecommunication committee, in coordination with Ministries of Interior, Defense and Information to enact a legislation related to electronic crimes and how to protect the whole system.

Police General Mostafa Eladawy assistant of the Minister of Interior for visa affairs, Dr.Sherif Hashem the Deputy of the CEO of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority for Cyberspace Security and Sayed Hendawy from Ministry of Telecommunication, all participated in the meeting today.
