CAIRO – 3 January 2018: #My_Vote_For_Sisi_2018, a hashtag that only got initiated on Wednesday Cropped up Twitter’s trending hashtags with thousands of interactions and retweets in support of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s candidacy in the upcoming presidential elections.
@vaQwsuJrIi6lUdu said, “I will vote again for Sisi so that the Egyptian flag remains waving high across the globe, long live Egypt.”
Along with the hashtag, @AlarabySina also wrote, “Because who sowed, must reap.”
@SawsanSalahElde also used the hashtag as she said, “My vote for the skilled captain who manged to steer the nation’s ship to safety across the raging sea and stormy weather without bowing his head.”
Twitter user @ahmedaahmed76 used the hashtag as he posted, “A president who loves his country this much is hard to come by, a president who builds his country this fast is hard to come by, a president that develops his army with such power and secrecy is hard to come by, a president who does not reply to his offenders and keeps on building his country is hard to come by, such a humble and loyal president is hard to come by.”

The main aim of the campaign is to gather signatures on a petition that demands a second inauguration of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi as President of Egypt.
