Medical convoy examines 3,522 patients in Halayeb, Shalateen

ZAGAZIG, EGYPT - 1 January 2018: A convey of Zagazig University finalized its medical mission in Halayeb and Shalateen after examining 3,522 patients and giving medicines for them.

In statements Monday, President of Zagazig University Khalid Abdel Bari said that the convoy gathered professors of the Faculty of Medicine in different specialties. They performed 39 surgeries at Shalateen hospital.

The mission, which lasted for four days, was launched as part of the university's efforts to develop society in remote and most needy villages, Abdel Bari added.
