Minister: EGP 51.5 bln worth projects to develop railways

ASWAN - 31 December 2017: Minister of Transport Hisham Arafat said Sunday that his ministry was currently conducting projects worth EGP 51.5 billion to develop the railways.

The projects include upgrading and modernizing signals, and buying new carriages, Arafat said.

The minister’s remarks came during his inspection of Kom Ombo railway station, where he met some citizens and listened to their complaints.
