CAIRO- 29 December 2017: The pan-Arab Parliament discussed during its second session on Thursday, an Arab plan to foil Israel's attempt to get a permanent seat at the UN Security Council for 2019/2020.

The plan is put forth by the Palestine Committee of the Parliament.

The parliament, under Meshaal el Sulami, will also discuss a number of draft resolutions on the situation in Yemen and other countries.

It will debate as well a plan to lift Sudan from the list of terrorism-sponsoring countries.

Over the past few days, the sub-committees of the parliament have been holding preparatory sessions to expound the issues tabled on the agenda of the session.
