It aims to be a repository for Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) data and a source of policy analysis in support of evidence based policy making in Egypt.
It is one of Egypt’s weapons used in facing the challenges of the future and Egypt’s gate to catch up with the technology revolution.
President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is keen on enhancing ongoing efforts to develop and upgrade university research facilities and educational institutes across Egypt.
Also, the Ministry of Scientific Research is keen on promoting the use of advanced technology at institutes of higher education and scientific research to keep up with future demands.
