Egypt, Saudi Arabia discuss activating an electronic linkage

CAIRO - 27 December 2017:In a meeting with a delegation of the Saudi Labor Ministry, Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan Wednesday probed means by which to activate an electronic linkage between Cairo and Riyadh.

The linkage is meant to increase job opportunities for Egyptians in the Kingdom, Saafan said.

It will also help avoid cases of fraud by job brokers.

Saafan hailed as "deep" relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

He said he is pleased with the level of cooperation between the two countries in the various labor fields.

The meeting also tackled cooperation in the field of vocational health and safety, with the Saudi delegation seeking to benefit from Egypt's know-how in this regard.
