President Sisi: Armed Forces Hospitals to receive Mar Girgis Church victims

CAIRO – 9 April 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on Sunday issued directives to Armed Forces Hospitals to receive victims of the Mar Girgis Church in Tanta, north of Cairo.

Critical cases will be transferred to the nearest military medial complexes.

Egypt's Ministry of Health has announced that 22 people were killed and another 71 injured after an explosion at a Coptic church in Tanta. Churchgoers were attending a service to celebrate Palm Sunday when the blast went off.
