Dakahlia road accident - YOUM7
CAIRO – 8 April 2017: Following a traffic accident that killed a bride and groom Thursday, the Egyptian parliament is planning a plenary session to discuss the crisis of Miniat El Nasr road in Dakahlia.
A parliament member is calling for the cabinet and the Minister of Transportation to intervene and save the lives dying on Dakahlia’s “death road,”

"The government must attend the plenary session, so that we can have solutions to save people from the clutches of death," MP Hassan Moussa told Al-Watan.
Moussa further stated he is filing an urgent statement against Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Minister of Transportation Hisham Arafat.
A bride and groom and one of their relatives were killed in an accident on Miniat El Nasr Road Thursday night, while heading to their wedding.
The same road has been the site of several deadly accidents in recent years.
, at least 11 people were killed in a multiple vehicle collision involving a truck, a motorcycle and a microbus.

by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), road accidents in Egypt in 2015 resulted in 25,000 cases of deaths and injuries, including 6,203 fatalities, 15,847 severe injuries and 3,479 light injuries.
