Ismailia–Port Said highway was closed due to heavy mist

CAIRO – 20 December 2017: General Directorate of Traffic closed Ismailia–Port Said highway due to the heavy mist that covered the sky since early Wednesday morning.
The highway was closed in both directions until the mist disappears.

General Directorate of Traffic calls on all departments to exercise caution while driving on the roads and to strengthen the road and traffic services.

On December 4, the General Directorate of Traffic closed the 26th of July road, the Ring road, Alexandria Desert Road, the Agricultural Road, Western Assyut Road and some coastal roads and announced instructions for safe driving until the sky cleared up again.
The instructions include committing to the legal speed limit and leaving enough distance between cars.
