Turkish court releases German journalist: Turkish media

ISTANBUL - 18 December 2017: A Turkish court on Monday freed from detention German journalist Mesale Tolu and five others who are accused of being members of a terrorist organization and publishing terrorist propaganda, Turkish media reported.

The case has further damaged the strained relations between Turkey and Germany, which had demanded Tolu's release.
