CAIRO – 17 December 2017: “Alashan Tbneeha” (To Build It) issued forms in Braille giving blind citizens the chance to participate in demanding that President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi runs for a second term as president of Egypt. Menatallah Abdul Rahim is the first blind student to sign the form on Sunday.

Earlier this month, “Alashan Tbneeha” (To Build It), went on a 10-day tour of Europe to meet Egyptian nationals living abroad, the campaign announced on its recently-launched website.

The tour aims to demonstrate the Egyptian leader's achievements despite numerous challenges facing the country. The campaign's website allows Egyptians living abroad to sign the campaign online.

The campaign witnessed a remarkable turnout by Egyptian citizens during the signature phase of the campaign, launched in October.

The campaign affirms that it does not follow any political party or governmental entity.
