Daesh leader killed in Iraq's Diyala

BAGHDAD - 15 December 2017: A Daesh leader, who was responsible for reconnaissance, was killed with a number of his companions in the northern borders of Iraq's Diyala governorate, a local source was quoted by the Iraqi news agency as saying Friday.

An Iraqi aircraft targeted a Daesh hotbed in northern Diyala, where Daesh militants hid, including a leader.

The leader, who was locally called "Daesh Eye", was responsible for exploring the security and military positions of the Iraqi forces in Diyala and Salah ad Din governorates.
