Acting PM probes report on projects carried out by Military Production Ministry

CAIRO - 14 December 2017: Acting Premier and Housing Minister Moustafa Madboli met Thursday with State Minister for Military Production Mohamed el Assar.

During the meeting, Assar reviewed a report on the ventures being implemented by his ministry, pointing out that these projects include establishing a factory for manufacturing solar panels in cooperation with one of the international companies working in this field.

The minister underscored that the project aims at providing panels used in constructing solar energy stations which backs the state's attention paid to the renewable energy file.

Expanding in building such stations contributes to diversifying the sources of energy, Assar reiterated.

He referred to the participation of the Military Production Ministry in implementing a strategy to desalinate water via manufacturing desalination systems in coordination with the Housing Ministry and a number of the bodies concerned.

Assar reviewed also his ministry's efforts supporting the initiative adopted by Beni Suef governorate to use non-traditional ways of treating sewage water.
