SANAA - 11 December 2017: Iran has withdrawn 40 military advisers from Al Hudaydah port in Yemen, marine sources said on Monday.

They withdrew along a number of UN advisors in order not to draw any attention to the incident, Al Arabiya reported.

This came after Iranian military adviser Hossein Khosravi was killed last week in Yemen.

Earlier, Iranian embassy in Sanaa relocated its staff to Muscat after the embassy was shelled by the forces of the Yemeni General People's Congress.
