Egypt’s Environment Minister, Spain's Ambassador talk cooperation

CAIRO - 7 March 2017: Egyptian Minister of Environment Dr. Khaled Fahmy met Spanish Ambassador to Cairo Arturo Affilio Tuesday to discuss cooperation between Egypt and Spain in the environmental field, according to a press statement from the ministry.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Egyptian-Spanish Partnership for Business and Investment Seminar, which is being organized by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade.

Investments in other fields such as infrastructure, energy, environment and agriculture were also discussed during the meeting.

During his speech at the meeting, Fahmi pointed out that Egypt took a number of measures to improve the investment environment in order to achieve economic stability while overcoming obstacles to ensure a fruitful cooperation.
