SANAA - 3 December 2017: The jets of the Arab coalition launched five air raids on Sunday on Houthi sites in a number of heights in southern Sanaa, Yemeni sources told al Arabiya al Hadith TV.

The Arab coalition announced earlier that it follows up the latest developments on the Yemeni arena, adding that it sides with the Yemenis to maintain their territories and identity within the framework of the Arab, regional and international security.

Clashes took place in the past three days between supporters of ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Houthi militias where at least 100 people were killed.

on Saturday, The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen said it was confident that leaders of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh's General People's Congress Party (GPC) would return to the Arab fold.

The comments, carried by the Saudi-owned Al-Hadath news channel, came after Saleh said he was ready to turn a new page with the coalition if it stopped what he described as its aggression on Yemen and lifted restrictions on transportation.

The coalition accuses Saleh of having betrayed his Arab neighbours by joining the Houthi-led forces they say are aligned with non-Arab Iran.
