EgyptAir receives last plane of new Boeing deal

CAIRO - 3 December 2017: An EgyptAir delegation will head for New York on Monday to receive the last B737-800 NGs plane which is part of a new deal of planes, according to a statement of the Civil Aviation Ministry.

The delegation will finish the procedures of receiving the plane.The 9-plane deal is with Boeing Renton Factory in the US city of Seattle.

EgyptAir announced in July the purchase of nine of the latest 737 aircraft, valued at about US$864 million (almost LE9 billion).

Egypt received the first jet in December 2016.
