‘To Build It’ campaign tours Europe

CAIRO – 3 December 2017: “Alashan Tbneeha” (To Build It), a public campaign that kicked off in September to demand President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to run for a second term as President of Egypt is to go on a 10-day tour in Europe to meet Egyptian nationals and communities abroad, the campaign announced on its recently-launched website.

Head of the campaign's foreign sector, Parliament member Mahmoud Hussien, is to head to France on head of the delegation today.

The tour includes France, Switzerland, Denmark and Sweden.

The tour aims mainly to demonstrate the campaign's goal and the Egyptian leader's achievements that he managed to achieve regardless of numerous challenges that have been facing the country.

The campaign's website allows Egyptians living abroad to sign the campaign online.

It is pertinent to mention that the campaign witnessed a remarkable turnout by citizens and renowned figures of the Egyptian society as the signatures phase of the campaign was launched in October.

The campaign affirmed days after launching that it does not follow any political party or governmental entity.

Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is the sixth president of Egypt. He came to office on June 2014 after the revolution of June 30, which toppled former president Mohamed Morsi, who is affiliated with the now-banned Muslim Brotherhood.
