BERLIN - 1 December 2017: An explosive device found in the German city of Potsdam near Berlin has been defused, local police said on Twitter on Friday.

Police had cordoned off the area and the nearby Christmas market after being alerted about a suspicious object delivered to a pharmacy in the area.
