CAIRO – 30 November 2017: Egypt is waging a war against terrorism on behalf of the world, said American-Egyptian entrepreneur at London Center for Policy Research, Michael Morgan.

Morgan held a hearing session on Thursday in the United States in the presence of members of the American Congress and Senate to discuss the threats of terrorism, and the jeopardy of supporting it in favor of certain states’ agendas.

Morgan denounced the confusion in the US Congress decisions regarding a strategic Middle Eastern alley like Egypt, though the latter is facing the most violent terrorist attacks.

Morgan praised the latest improvement of relations between the current American administration and Egypt, despite the attitude adopted by some American legislatives, which does not cope with the nature of the current ties.

The American-Egyptian entrepreneur expressed his worries that some Democrats and Liberals may curb American President Donald Trump’s foreign policy, especially towards the Middle East.

Morgan added that internal disputes should not affect the policy makers’ calls, when it comes to the Humanity and the American citizens’ safety.

American congress should activate legal procedures against terrorist organizations, which exploiting the state’s principals and abusing the American freedoms to implement its vandalizing vision, said Morgan.

Morgan urged American policy makers during the session to support Egypt in both financially and strategically levels, noting that Egypt is going through a transition phase requiring the state to protect the national security amid fighting terrorism.

“It is not reasonable for the international community to ignore the rights of those who died, those who have been displaced and those who have been orphaned as a result of terrorism crimes and only pay attention to some inaccurate and unjustified reports about Human rights,” he added.

Morgan expressed gratitude for US senators Louie Gohmert from Texas and Steve King from Iwoa and Richard Black from Virginia.

Black was keen to express his condolences for the Radwa mosque victims targeted in Sinai by a deadly terrorist attack on Friday, praising afterwards Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s wise fight against terrorism.

"Egypt was a victim of the brotherhood regime and Sisi insisted on not using violence against the protesters, demonstrating against Mohamed Morsi," Black Added.

He went on to attack the Muslim Brotherhood, stating that “If Al-Qaeda is the armed wing of the jihadist organizations; then the Muslim Brotherhood is the political wing.”

Morgan denounced what he described as the “flop” in the US congressional decisions toward a strategic ally in the Middle East, such as Egypt, which is facing the heaviest terrorist attacks.

Morgan called on Congress to take swift legal actions against terrorist organizations and entities that exploit the principles and values of the American community and the privileges granted by the United States to foreigners.

“It is not reasonable for the international community to ignore the rights of those who died, those who have been displaced and those who have been orphaned as a result of terrorism crimes and only pay attention to some inaccurate and unjustified reports about Human rights,” he added.
