CAIRO – 29 November 2017: Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit left Cairo Wednesday for Rome to take part in the activities of the Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue.
Slated for Thursday, the Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue, to be held in Italy for the third time, is scheduled to discuss different issues concerning the Mediterranean Sea countries, topped by protecting the political stability in these states.
Stability would serve better trade exchange, boosting common security and dialogue via making strategies aimed at fighting terrorism, stopping illegal immigration, in addition to respecting the human rights.
Lebanon’s President Michel Aoun, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and representatives from GCC and Arab countries, along with the EU Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini, will be present at the meetings.
