Parl't speaker: Sinai terrorist attack is heinous

CAIRO - 27 Nov. 2017: Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal said that the terrorist attack that targeted North Sinai's el Rawda Mosque on Friday is "heinous and painful" as it contradicts with all the heavenly religions.

He further pointed out to a statement issued by the House of Representatives once the assault took place so as to express solidarity with the Egyptian people, Armed Forces as well as the police and back the political leadership in the decisions made in this regard.

During his speech at the beginning of the parliament's urgent session on Monday commenting on the attack which left 305 persons dead, Abdel Aal stressed that the terrorist act united all the Egyptians with all their sects and political affiliations.

He asserted that he represents by his speech all the parliament members.
