Shoukry meets with representatives of Jewish organizations in DC

CAIRO – 1 March 2017: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with representatives of American Jewish organizations in the Egyptian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Tuesday.

The meeting included discussions on boosting U.S.-Egyptian economic, political and military relations, and regional issues in the Arab world and Middle East, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Abu-Zeid said in a Wednesday statement.

According to the statement, the Jewish organization’s delegations said a stable Egypt benefits the U.S. because of Egypt’s role in boosting stability in the Middle East.
