Egypt stresses fight against terrorism: Egyptian delegation head

CAIRO – 26 November 2017: Egyptian delegation's head Major General Tawhid Tawfiq said during his speech at the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition’s forum on Sunday that Egypt stresses the fights against terrorism which threatens the world’s countries.

He added that the history of the terrorist groups confirms that there is no difference in its methods based on terrorism.

“Terrorism requires the spread of tolerance, not just security confrontations,” he added.

The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition has officially commenced its opening session of its forum on Sunday noon in Al-Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was opened by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, under the theme “Allied Against Terrorism”.

Top defence officials from some 40 Muslim-majority countries met for a summit aimed at countering "terrorism".
