CAIRO – 24 November 2017: Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church, presided over by Pope Tawadros II, condemned the brutal terrorist attack that targeted worshipers, which took place Friday at Al-Rawda mosque in Arish.

“Egypt, with its grandeur, and long standing civilization will be eventually able to ward off such ‘unprecedented’ terrorism, and Egypt will remain a strong fortress in the face of it,” the statement said.
A number of terrorists stormed Al-Rawdah mosque in west Arish City during Friday prayers, and detonated an explosive device.
