CAIRO – 22 November 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail will head to Germany on Thursday for medical treatment, the Cabinet said in a statement on Wednesday.

Ismail will undergo surgery and is expected to spend three weeks in treatment, the statement added.

Cabinet spokesperson, Ashraf Sultan, announced to the press that an acting prime minister will be appointed by the presidency during Ismail’s absence.
