65% of Egyptians see Saudi Arabia as friend, Qatar as enemy

CAIRO – 14 November 2017: Sixty-five percent of Egyptians view Qatar as a direct enemy to Egypt, while the same rate views Saudi Arabia as a friendly country, according to a study conducted by the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera) on Egyptians’ viewpoints to a number of countries.

The study revealed that 75 percent of the Egyptian people believe that Israel is an enemy country.

According to Turkey, 20 percent of Egyptian people consider it as one of the most hostile country.

Around 33 percent of Egyptians see Russia as a friend to Egypt, the study added.

Baseera held a meeting on Tuesday marking the fifth anniversary of the center and celebrating achievement in several studies, researches, and polls in different issues of political, economic and social domains.
