CAIRO – 8 November 2017: Egyptian Prime Minister Shreif Ismail met on Tuesday Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea Francisco Pascual Obama on the sidelines of World Youth Forum at Sharm El-Sheikh.
Ismail expressed his appreciation for Equatorial Guinea’s delegation participation, confirming Egypt’s keeness to promote relations between the two countries at all levels.
Ismail discussed with Obama ways of enhancing the bilateral volume of trade as well as cooperation in political, economic and confronting terrorism fields in the next phase.
Obama expressed his happiness for the high level of coordination he encountered in the WYF, confirming the exerted role of Egypt in empowering youth and exploiting their creative energy through their participation in political and economic life.
Obama discussed how to enhance the bilateral relations with Egypt especially in the fields of pharmaceutical industry, water station and infrastructure.
The WYF, which launched on Sunday, is a forum designed to give youth from all over the world the chance to engage in the development of the world. It is a chance to allow them to be heard as well by world leaders and influential individuals. Egypt’s first international youth event is set to run until November 10, bringing together 3,000 youth represented by 60 delegations from around the world.
