SHARM EL SHEIKH, Nov 7 (MENA) – Egypt has developed a comprehensive reform program to better its educational system, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Tuesday.
During a meeting with a group of youths taking part in the World Youth Forum, the president said reforms are underway to improve educational services provided for over 22 million students in the pre-university stage along three million high-education students.
The president asserted the program is set to make radical changes in order to improve education, presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said.
President Sisi said he is keen on listening to the youths’ views on ways to overcome challenges with ambition, enthusiasm and innovation.
In his comments, President Sisi warned terrorism results in huge damage that impacts economy, including the tourism industry.
The meeting was attended by a group of young people from different countries, Radi said, adding a Palestinian youth hailed Egypt’s efforts in the region to find a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
From Yemen, another young man raised a question on the best way to find a solution to the crisis in his country, the spokesman said.
A participant suggested similar reform should be in place to mimic the World Youth Forum in Sharm el Sheikh to find solutions to problems of Africa.
