Sheikh Qassemi gifts 3 buses to Agriculture faculty

CAIRO – 7 November 2017: Sheikh Sultan al-Qassemi, ruler of Sharjah, gifted three buses to Cairo’s new Faculty of Agriculture, with banners on them that read "dedicated from Sheikh Sultan al-Qassemi."

As part of his activities during his current visit to Egypt, Sheikh Qassemi will partake in Egypt-organized World Youth Forum, and he is also scheduled to visit Cairo University, where he obtained his degree in agricultural engineering.

Qassemi subsequently completed a Ph.D. with distinction in History at Exeter University in 1985, and another in Political Geography of the Gulf at Durham University in 1999.

Upon his arrival in Sharm El-Sheikh, Qassemi has returned 354 smuggled antiquities, previously seized by the authorities of Sharjah, to Egypt.
