African officials urges for upgrading youth conditions

SHARM EL SHEIKH - 6 November 2017: Gabon's President Ali Bongo stressed that the African continent needs providing education to males and females equally and investing in primary schools of modern technological capabilities.

He underlined the importance of developing other stages of education via cooperation among the governments and the private sector to determine the needs of the labor market.

Gabon's president stressed the need to benefit from African resources that are exported abroad which makes job opportunities limited in the continent.

This came during the session of "Using demographic yield to invest in youth for achieving sustainable development" attended by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday within the framework of the sessions of the World Youth Forum held here.

Senegalese Prime Minister Mohammed Abdallah Dionne referred to the vision of his country pertaining to development that will not be achieved without attaining peace or improving education and investing in the human element.

The Sudanese Minister of Youth and Sports Abdel Karim Moussa conveyed the greetings of Sudanese President Omar al Bashir to the participants in the forum, which is considered one of the most important dialogue platforms.

He underlined that the youth represent 70 percent of the labor power which should be used via plans and this platform that groups youth and leaders.
