RIYADH - 4 November 2017: Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Saturday sacked prince Moteib bin Abdullah, minister of the national guard, from his post.

Prince Khalid bin Ayef has been appointed as minister for the National Guard, Al Arabiya News reported.

A second Royal Order was issued to sack Minister of Economy and Planning, Khalid al-Faqieh, from his duties, and the appointment of Mohammed Al Tuwaijri as Minister of Economy and Planning.

A Royal Order was also issued relieving Rear Admiral Abdullah al-Sultan as commander of the Royal Saudi Navy and the appointment of Rear Admiral Fahad al-Ghafli as commander of the Royal Saudi Navy.
