ATHENS - 04 November 2017: Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian navy, Vice-Admiral Ahmed Khaled and Greece's Defense Minister Panos Kammenos on Saturday attended the main phase of the Greece’s joint military exercise with Egypt, Medusa 5.
The two countries have set military plans for joint forces as part of efforts to bolster stability in the eastern Mediterranean.
The today’s drills, Medusa 5, reflect high-level skills of the forces and prove the two countries are keen on boosting military ties, Kammenos said.
In the same context, Khaled asserted the participating military units will take the advantage to exchange experience and bolster effective cooperation.
The trills were also attended by top military commanders from Greece and Egypt.
