FM Shoukry heads for UAE for political forum

CAIRO - 3 November 2017: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed Friday night for the UAE on a several days' visit.

While in Abu Dhabi, Shoukry will attend the 8th Sir Bani Yas forum organized by the UAE foreign ministry in cooperation with the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies.

The annual event is a platform for figures and senior political officials to touch on regional and international peace and security issues.

Shoukry's participation is part of Cairo's keenness on constant contact with experts and top officials with views on peace, security and stability in the Middle East, the foreign ministry's spokesman Ahmed Abu-Zeid said.
