US congratulates Egypt on rescue of police captain el Hayes

CAIRO - 3 November 2017: The United States has congratulated Egypt on the successful operation carried out by security forces during the past few days to rescue police captain Mohamed el Hayes, who was abducted by terrorists involved in Wahat attack in early October.

“Congratulations to Egypt on the successful rescue of Captain el Hayes,” Thomas Goldberger, chargé d'affaires of the US embassy in Cairo wrote on his Twitter.

“Egyptian security forces are valiantly giving their all to fight terrorism,” he said.
