Iraqi forces retake Tank, Sekak neighborhoods in Anbar

BAGHDAD - 3 November 2017: The Iraqi forces of al Jazeera Operations Command and the army's 7th division have successfully recaptured al Tank and al Sekak neighborhoods in western al Qa'im, a security source said.

In statements to Alsumaria news channel, the source noted that the forces are advancing toward the remaining neighborhoods in the center of al Qa'im town still in the hands of Daesh in order to liberate them.

Daesh militants have largely retreated as the Iraqi forces advance, he added.
