TUNIS CITY - 2 November 2017: Tunisia's security forces on Thursday thwarted an illegal migration attempt by 144 people from various areas of Tunisia to Europe.

In a statement, the Tunisian Interior Ministry said that security forces arrested the people while attempting to cross the maritime border towards Europe in fishing boats.

All legal measures were taken against them, the statement added.
