Kuwait's ruler reappoints PM

Kuwait's ruler reappointed his prime minister on Wednesday and asked him to form a cabinet, the official state news agency said.

This come after the government stepped down earlier this week in an expected cabinet reshuffle; on Monday, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak al-Sabah had tendered his resignation.

Washington is fully responsible for the failure of the Iranian nuclear deal: Russia

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the U.S. is the only one responsible for the failure of Iran’s nuclear, and Washington should be aware of the disastrous consequences of this step, according to RT agency.

Ryabkov said that the failure of the suspension will be entirely on the American side, adding that the main task “is fully to maintain what has been reached.”

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he wanted to withdraw from the Iranian nuclear deal, describing it as the “worst deal ever;” even though he ratified it twice, as the U.S. administration has to ratify it every 90 days before the Congress.

Suspect NYC bomber affiliated to IS branch

The New York bomber who killed eight people on a minibus on Tuesday was affiliated to the IS organization, New York Governor Andrew Kiyomo said Wednesday.

The suspect, who was shot by police and arrested moments after Tuesday's rampage on Manhattan, left a note saying he carried out the attack in the name of the militant Islamic State group, the New York Times and CNN said.

The 29-year-old driver was shot by the police in the abdomen and taken into custody after he crashed the truck into a school bus and fled his vehicle, New York City Police Commissioner James O'Neill told a news conference.

Shinzo Abe re-elected prime minister of Japan

Japan’s parliament on Wednesday re-elected Shinzo Abe as Japan’s prime minister after winning the parliamentary elections last month.

Despite Abe’s win in the election on October 22, he faces a decline in popularity amidst a series of scandals involving his wife Akki. Critics claim that Abe called for early elections to avoid opposition criticism over the scandals surrounding him.

Eight dead, dozens injured in blast at Indian coal-fired plant

About eight died and 100 people were injured after a water boiler exploded at a power plant in Uttar Pradesh state in the north of the country on Wednesday, an Indian police official told Reuters.

The coal-fired plant is owned by NTPC, India's largest power plant, and police officer Danangai Singh said the station in the town of Unchahar is now closed.
