Egypt denounces terror attack in Bahrain

CAIRO - 27 October 2017: Egypt condemned in the strongest terms on Friday a terror attack on a police vehicle in the Bahraini capital, Manama, in which one policeman was killed and eight others were injured.

In a press release, the Foreign Ministry offered its condolences to the family of the victim and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The statement stressed Egypt’s support to the Bahraini government and people in combating terrorism.

These terrorist acts will not undermine Bahrain’s security and stability, the ministry said.

It stressed the importance of tracking down the financing sources of these terrorists groups in the region and the whole world.
