BAGHDAD – 27 October 2017: Iraqi joint forces waged an attack against Daesh terrorists to restore the terrorist group's last stronghold on borders with Syria, leaving 32 terrorists dead, an Iraqi security source said on Friday.

Several Daesh terrorists fled to al Qa'im city following the attack, the sources added.

On Thursday, Iraq forces backed by the US-led coalition and popular forces launched military operations to liberate the cities of al Qa'im and Rawaa from Daesh terrorists.
