CAIRO – 25 October 2017: “Qatar must first recognize that it has a problem and then the solution will come,” Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said on Monday; reiterating that Qatar no longer represents an important issue.

Addressing the annual Chatham House conference in London, Jubeir said that the kingdom has other more important issues to focus on and that what matters the most is standing against the vile attempts to roil up the Gulf community; calling on Doha to remediate its current policies of supporting and funding terrorism and extremism.

Since June 5, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have turned on Qatar with a complete air and trade boycott over allegations of its support and sponsorship of terrorism, which Doha denies.

Following the Arab boycott of Doha, a list of 13-demands was handed to Doha’s government by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain for reconciliation, which includes the closing of Al-Jazeera channel and the suspension of Qatar's relationship with the extremist government of Iran.

Since then, Qatar has resisted conciliation attempts, and has not exerted any efforts in disassociating itself from the terrorist groups which were proven to be harbored in and financially supported by Doha.
