CAIRO – 21 October 2017: The Giza criminal court decided on Saturday to adjourn to November 12 the trial of the Supreme Guide of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group Mohamed Badie and eight other prominent MB leaders over inciting and committing acts of violence in Giza's el Bahr el Azam.
The case was delayed for more hearings. The retrial of the defendants came in light of the court of appeals' verdict, which abolished the 25-year-imprisonment sentence issued in 2014 against the defendants and ordered holding a retrial.
The defendants include prominent MB leaders such as Badie, Mohamed El Beltagy and Essam El Erian.
