CAIRO – 18 October 2017: British William Hill corporate for bets suggested a list of new countries to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup instead of Qatar on Wednesday.

According to the opposition website Qatarileaks, this suggestion comes due to rising doubts over Qatar’s right to host the competition amid several accusations of corruption and bribery that followed well-known Qatari figures regarding the broadcasting and organizing rights of the event.

The list of suggested countries includes USA, Australia, England, China, Germany, and South Korea.

On October 12, the Swiss prosecutors opened a criminal investigation with the Qatari businessman, President of Paris Saint-Germain, and head of beIN Sports network Nasser al-Khelaifi.

Questioning Khelaifi came as a result of the former FIFA Secretary-General, Jerome Valcke’s investigation findings regarding accusations of taking advantage of his position to give the broadcasting rights of the FIFA championship to specific organizations.
