Saafan hails performance of Egyptian workers

CAIRO – 16 October 2017: Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said on Monday that the Egyptian worker is capable of working with high performances under pressures.

Such performances enable the Egyptian employer to be the best worldwide only if good potentials were provided for him, he said.

Saafan noted that the performance of Egyptian employers abroad and their abilities to assume their responsibilities can result in providing more opportunities to other employers and make Egyptian ones known for their good qualifications worldwide.

The remarks were made by the minister during handing over of employment contracts to 114 Egyptian employers at a construction company in a Gulf country.

He directed the traveling workers to contact with the labor consultant at the Egyptian embassy in the country they will work in, affirming that the main objective of the labor representative office is to serve and protect interests of Egyptian labor.

Saafan pointed out that such opportunities are provided by the ministry through its labor representative offices abroad within the framework of its strategy to reduce unemployment.
