Trial of 23 members of Ansar Al Sharia Brigades delayed

CAIRO - 9 October 2017: The Cairo Criminal Court on Monday postponed to November 22 the trial of 23 elements from "Kataeb Ansar al Sharia" terrorist group.

The defendants face charges of assassination of a police officer and 11 policemen and attempted murder of nine others and a citizen.

Moreover, the defendants are also charged with possessing firearms and manufacturing explosive devices.
