EEHC delegation heads for Saudi Arabia

CAIRO - 9 October 2017: A delegation of Egypt Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), under Gaber el Desouqi, left Cairo on Monday for a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia.

The delegation is due to take part in a session of the Saudi Electricity Forum, to kick off Tuesday.

The forum is organized by the Saudi Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources.

The session will deal with developing electricity market and power linkage with neighboring countries.

The delegation will review Egypt's experience in the field of electricity market's liberalization, the reform steps of the electricity market and the transition to a competitive electricity market.
